Our timeline:
Fall 2023
In addition to finalizing designs for our initial version, we looked for an initial partner. If you are interested in being one of the next customers to use Voltic to transport your goods with zero emissions, we'd love to hear from you!
Spring 2024
With our initial customer and route determined, we'll begin retrofit work on our first commercially viable, revenue-generating model. This will consist of a small container ship operating on the Asia to Los Angeles route.
Fall 2024+
After our ship goes into operation, we'll begin work on bigger vessels. Entirely solar powered, our ultimate goal is to decarbonize the shipping industry and reduce global CO2 emissions by 2.2%.
